Global Missions Offering
The Counting Committee reports that we gave $505 to the Global Missions Offering in December. One hundred percent of donations support our Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel (missionaries).
Halifax Urban Ministries
During the winter months consider including the following in your food donations to HUM: canned stews, soups and chili, mac and cheese or Ramen noodles. In addition to canned items, dry cereal and peanut butter are always welcome. Gifts are collected on the first Sunday of each month as a part of our Communion worship service.
Countryside Lakes ALF
Our in-house paparazzo, Lou Herouart, has posted a great shot of New Hope folks who visit Countryside Lakes on the bulletin board. Join the fun of the birthday celebrations on Wednesday, January 20. Meet the group in the lobby at noon.
LADIES LUNCH
We curtsy deeply to Jean Batchelor for her work in scheduling and making contacts for the Ladies Lunches over the past several years. Linda Manners is picking up this responsibility beginning this month. We will lunch at the Skyline Restaurant at the New Smyrna Beach airport on Tuesday, January 19, at 11:30. Linda reports the restaurant has recently been remodeled. Please let her know by Monday, January 18, if you plan to attend so that she may make reservations.
